It's lively, poignant, and totally personalized: old memories, new fun. Popular for weddings, milestone birthdays, bar/bat mitzvahs, graduations, retirements, memorials, and company milestones.

We strive for the Goldilocks effect: not too long, not too short… just right. The length depends on the materials and occasion. We want to include everything that’s important while captivating — never boring — your audience.

Here’s the five step Cinetoast process:

1. Consultation: We talk through the details of your project. You tell us about your honoree or organization and the occasion; we answer any questions you might have.

2. Collection: You gather photos, videos, and music ideas.

3. Edit: We weave it all into a story.

4. Feedback: You review a rough cut.

5. Showtime: We deliver the final video, ready for the big screen.

You probably have 57,000 pictures on your phone, dozens of albums on your shelves, and boxes of photos in the closet. Take a breath.

We want to make sure all of the most important moments and people are included, but as with everything here, there is no formula. Clients typically share 50-200 photos, communicating what’s essential. Because Cinetoast videos are edited to the music, photos may be onscreen for several seconds or just a flash. We add movement to most photos to bring them to life. Video clips that enhance the story are great, too. We may use a few short clips or up to several dozen.

Cinetoast videos use music to drive the storytelling, evoke emotion, and keep the pace. Different song clips come to represent the various chapters of your honoree’s life or organization’s history. As with everything we do, it’s totally customized to your project. We might use portions of three songs… or ten.

Because they’re totally personalized, these projects do take some time… for you and us. On your end, consider how long it will take for you to collect the images you want included. It’s best to reach out several months in advance, even just for our initial conversation.
