PRIVACY POLICY

Cinetoast LLC is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. In order to operate this website (the “Site”), we collect certain information. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we collect, what we do with it, with whom we share it, and how you can correct or change such information.

 

The processing of personal data in connection with client relationships is not covered by this Privacy Policy.  Rather, it is addressed in separate agreements between Cinetoast LLC and our clients.

 

This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through the Site and via phone or email based on the contact information on the Site, but not to information collected or obtained from other sources. See “Links to Other Sites” below. 

 

The types of information we collect about you  

Personal Information:  Personally Identifiable Information (“Personal Information”) is any information that can be used to identify a specific individual. The only Personal Information that we collect is whatever Personal Information is included in emails sent to cinetoast@gmail.com or provided to us by telephone through our Contact Us feature.

 

Aggregate and Anonymous Data:  Aggregate and anonymous data is information collected automatically through the operation of the Site, as well as certain information about website usage which we aggregate and use in a manner that does not identify you personally (collectively, “Non-Identifying Data”).  We may collect usage data (such as which pages of the Site you visit and in what sequence) through the use of various technologies.  For example, we may collect IP addresses from individuals who access the Site. We do not link IP addresses to any Personal Information, so although your session may be logged, you will remain anonymous to us.  During some visits, we may use software tools, such as Javascript and/or Google Analytics, to measure and collect session information, including page response times, download errors, time spent on certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.  These analytics features do not collect Personal Information.

 

Use of cookies and similar technologies  

Like many providers of Internet services, we may use “cookies” or other similar technologies to collect Non-Identifying Data.  Cookies allow us to measure traffic activity throughout the Site and to improve your user experience. Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies.  If you prefer, you can set your web browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent, but it is possible that some parts of the Site will not function properly if you do so. In addition, we may use a service that collects data remotely by using so-called “pixel tags,” “web beacons,” “clear GIFs” or similar means (collectively, “Pixel Tags”) embedded in website content.  A Pixel Tag is an electronic image, often a single pixel (1×1), that is ordinarily not visible to site visitors and may be associated with cookies on the visitors’ hard drives.  This information is Non-Identifying Data.

 

Our use of the information we collect from you

Personal Information: We will use your Personal Information to respond to inquiries from you, to inform you about our activities, or to protect against or identify possible fraudulent transactions.

Non-Identifying Data: We may also use Personal Information in aggregate form for purposes of research or analysis.  We may share this type of Non-Identifying Data with a variety of third parties, including our affiliates, agents, research partners and current and prospective business partners.  We may use Non-Identifying Data collected from the Site for administration, advertising and promotional purposes, and we may share such information with various affiliated and unaffiliated entities for such purposes.

Sharing your personal information

 Except as stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not disclose your Personal Information to third parties without first informing you and obtaining your consent to having your Personal Information shared.

We may disclose your Personal Information to third parties without informing you in connection with the following:

Business-related Functions: Like many businesses, we may hire other companies to perform certain services on our behalf such as hosting specific portions of the Site. When we employ a third party to perform these functions, that third party will be provided only with the particular Personal Information it needs to perform its function.

Other Disclosures:  In addition, we may disclose Personal Information without providing you with the ability to opt out under the following limited circumstances:

  • (1) protect the legal rights, privacy or safety of Cinetoast LLC, its members, officers, employees and agents;

  • (2) protect the safety and security of other users of the Site;

  • (5) permit us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain;

Links to other sites  

The Site may also contain links to other sites that may not follow the same privacy policy as Cinetoast LLC. These sites may send their own cookies to you and may collect data and make use of that data in ways that we would not.  Once you’ve left the Site, this Privacy Policy will no longer apply to Personal Information or any other data collected from or provided by you on another site.  You should check the applicable privacy policy to determine how that site will handle such data.

 

Your Choices and Individual Rights

If you would like to access Personal Information we may have about you or to make changes to that information, please contact us at cinetoast@gmail.com.

If you have previously provided Personal Information to us and are receiving emails or other communications from us and you do not want to continue receiving such emails, please notify us by contacting us at cinetoast@gmail.com. If you ask that we stop using your Personal Information, we will take reasonable steps to honor that request on a prospective basis.

 

YOUR U.S. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on where you reside you may have additional rights, including the following:

Right to Portability. The right to request that personal information about you be disclosed in a common file format.

Right to Access. The right to request, up to two times each year, access to categories and specific pieces of personal information about you that we collect, use, disclose and share. 

Right to Delete. The right to request that we delete personal information that we collect from you, subject to applicable legal exceptions. 

Right to Correct. The right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you, subject to applicable legal exceptions. 

Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing of Personal Information. The right to “opt out” of the “sale” or “sharing” of your “personal information” to or with “third parties” (as those terms are defined by applicable law).

ADDITIONAL RIGHTS OF CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

Right to Know. If you are a California resident, you have the right to request that we disclose to you the categories of personal information we have collected about you, as well as the sources of such personal information, the purposes and the categories of third parties with whom such 

Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information. If you are a California resident, you have the right to limit our use of sensitive personal information for any purposes other than to provide the services or goods you request or as otherwise permitted by law. Removal of Content. If you are a California resident under the age of 18, and a registered user of the Sites, California Business and Professions Code Section 22581 permits you to request and obtain removal of content or information you have publicly posted.

“Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.” To the extent we “sell” your personal information (as the term “sell” is defined under the CCPA), you have the right to opt-out of that “sale” on a going-forward basis at any time.

European Economic Area: If you reside in a member state of the European Economic Area, you may have the right under applicable law to exercise certain privacy rights.  Among these rights are the right of access, the right of rectification, the right not to consent or to withdraw previously-provided consent, the right of erasure, the right to object to processing, and the right to restrict processing.

Our commitment to data security

We take reasonable security precautions to secure the Personal Information that you choose to provide against the loss, misuse, alteration or unauthorized access of such information.  Unfortunately, no transmission of data over the Internet is guaranteed to be completely secure.  It may be possible for third parties, not under our control, to intercept or access transmissions or private communications unlawfully.  While we strive to protect your Personal Information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any Personal Information you transmit to us.  Any such transmission is done at your own risk.  If you believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please notify us of the problem by contacting us at cinetoast@gmail.com.  If we learn of a security systems breach, then we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. We may post a notice on the Site if a security breach occurs. Depending on where you live, you may have a legal right to receive notice of a security breach in writing.
